liquid water obviously weighs more than ice.

but I’ve been stuck here for the past 30 minutes because i weighed liquid water vs ice (precisely the same amounts of 500mL) and the liquid water weighs 17.85 oz while the ice consistently weighs more— 18.15 oz. I zeroed out the weight of the containers I’m putting them in (.30oz) so that’s not making a difference … idfk what is wrong here— ice is definitely lighter than liquid water. .. I guess It could be that my scale is inaccurate
