A good friend of mine has fallen ill of cancer once more.
His only hope now is a stem cell donation and I am willing to be his donor
However, I have a couple of concerns.
Could the transplantation of stem cells result in a permanent depletion in my own stem cells or do they replenish over time? Are there known long term risks for my friend or me? So far I've found nothing extensive on this specific subject
