I'm using Apollo diamond manufacturers as an example:
1. Voluntary disclosure to the customer indicating its manufactured. (This was done to avoid De Beers coming down on Apollo with litigation and to simply avoid their wrath)
2. engraving a micro identification number on the diamond to make it clear its manufactured. Again to avoid the wrath of Kahn.
Apollo diamonds can insert the same impurities found in natural diamonds and can even manufacture region specific diamonds.
Without the disclosure and micro identification number they would be indistinguishable from the most murdered over blood diamond.
