Any relationship between Poynting vector and Lorentz force? Force times distance = work(energy) and the Poynting vector is about energy, right? And both are related to the same EM field. Also HxE seems to be related to qE+q(vB). Since B is essentially H. Same two vectors. But why isn't there v in the Poynting vector? Also whereas E is orthogonal to H in the Poynting vector, the same doesn't follow from the definition of the Lorentz force.
