Is that INRS? It's a good place to do your undergrad internship so you should definitely apply. Also consider asking your professors if they know of any internship opportunities. I got my first undergrad internship that way.

So you'll get research experience but the whole thing won't specifically be geared towards preparing you for a PhD. Again, you should speak with your professors. They'll give you good advice.
