It's really hard for me to describe this, but when I look into a light bright enough such that it causes a hazy and shiny reflection of my eyelashes to appear at the edge of my vision, I can use them (my eyelashes) as a...lens? If I look through them I can see what I think are cells. Definitely not floaters, but microscopic cells. They are tiny, much much smaller than pic related, and colourless too. It's very hard to get them into focus, it takes a few moments of searching through the lens. They look like perfect circles with a uniform ring inside them. They rush along out of my vision as if suspended in running water; they are a constant stream. I noticed this as sunlight streamed through my window into my face, as I have many times in the past. But I am able to recreate it by shining my phone torch into my face. If I open my eyes wide they go away, but slowly lowering my eyelids makes the eyelash reflection thingy reappear: I guess the fact that my actual eyelashes being in front of my vision or eyes is significant here. I would describe them (the eyelash lenses) as having an almost iridescent or rainbow color, though it is quite speckled.
What is going on here? When I google all I get is results for floaters which this definitely isn't. I have no scientific knowledge but if I had to guess I'd say something like the light is being reflected and somehow magnified which allows me to see the cells which are constantly floating inside by eyes???
