There has been some testing over a 7 day period.
1.5g seems to be fine for 7 days with no measurable ill effect.
2g for only 24 hours lead to some serious fluid imbalances in the body.
I would guess you could handle 3g for probably for a few hours.
Up to 2g you might be able to still move around a little if you are careful and have a healthy heart. Above that you would probably forced to stay in a gravity bed/seat of some sort.
Prolonged exposure to around 5-6g seems to be fatal. Even very well trained people will fall unconscious after a few minutes at 5g.
Jet pilots can withstand >5g for short periods using breathing techniques. The record for staying conscious seems to be around 9g for a few seconds. Obviously that would kill you if you did it for much longer.
