Predicting earthquakes using scientific method =/= delusion. I am actually providing proof of my claims, and as I said, this is only a hobby for me. I regularly draft theory in areas of greater consequence than seismology. However, because it involves science and involves predicting the future, it is a matter of some interest for me.

Just read through the thread. It seems like a load of confirmation bias in support of spatially and temporally imprecise predictions. Earthquakes happen constantly and you consider a successful prediction to be anywhere near the predicted line of latitude or within days of the predicted time, so you need to do some serious statistical analysis to verify your "method" is any better than chance. That is, if you want to be a /sci/entist instead of a schizo poster.

Why should we be biased against information because it is found on a board that YOU associate with conspiracy theories? Clearly it's not a conspiracy theory, and if you must know, I used the board because of the archival function and because it keeps things up on page 1 for longer and it's out of the way. Who knows, maybe some people get a "paranormal" thrill out of reading it because the truth is stranger than fiction.
