Basically even numbers which don't have a specific "exact value", like the solution of cos(x)=x, can be computed to arbitrary precision by evaluating it numerically. A non-computable number would be some totally random number that doesn't even mean anything. Like, if you picked a random point on the interval [0, 1], that would most likely be a non-computable number.
