>>14053655 >There is no convenience gain from classifying Asian people and white people as different species unless you want to use it to segregate them> this is the same for dogs and wolves as they can interbred so dogs would be Canis lupus familiaris and wolves Canis lupus. Does that fill you with joy? Do you really care?Yes. There's already enough retards that pretend that their dog-wolf mix is just as tame as a regular german sheperd, imagine if we declared them not to be different subspecies.
This is indeed the same for humans : different groups have different abilities and behaviours, and acknowledging that they are different subspecies would be convenient to deal with them, and the belief that there's only one human race and that we're all interchangeable is causing a lot of issues by forcing social principles and expectations onto people who aren't fit to follow them, a bit like you would have if you tried to treat a wolf like you treat your poodle.
For example, we expect blacks to be able to perform as well as whites in school, university, and in their careers. They don't. It is because they're less intelligent, but since this reality is dismissed out of hand as racism, we search for other explanations, and put the blame on whites for being racists. Blacks thus feel like failures or like victims or both, and resent whites and society, which alienates them further, and whites feel guilty or wrongly accused, and ressources are poured into making blacks perform with little results, and everyone gets upset and the conflict deepens.
If we acknowledged our differences it would be a real convenience gained, allowing us to treat people with equity, according to their actual abilities and needs. Pic related, we shouldn't pretend short people can be just as tall as others.
Additionally, as you said it would be useful to segregate them, which is a valid concern in regards to the preservation of diversity, which we value for all other animals.
