Why is there no country that produces synthetic oil anymore?
Germany did so until 1945 out of need I guess:

Today there are barely any countries that would benefit due to globalism, Iran has enough itself, it's just North Korea that would be in need of that, does anyone know if they have one?
Does anyone know how synthetic fuel is actually produced, scientifically speaking and would that actually be economically viable?
