But those laws are a function of our universe. And we can only assume them to be true inside of the universe.
It's pointless to speculate about the state of something that is outside of our universe because we don't know "its" laws (or the lack thereof). We can only speculate about things inside of our universe based on the things we observe or deduce from those observations, because all of those things are functions of the universe. None of those laws must be true outside of it.
