How was the big bang possible? Where did all the mass come from? Why did the mass start as a singularity and expand? Why was there a singularity sitting around in the first place, where did it come from? How is it possible for it to exist?

the big bang is just an atheist rewrite of the book of genesis, its not a rational or scientific theory. there is no observational evidence in support of it.

Our universe has laws like those about mass/energy and causality that are confusing you here.

But those laws are a function of our universe. And we can only assume them to be true inside of the universe.

It's pointless to speculate about the state of something that is outside of our universe because we don't know "its" laws (or the lack thereof). We can only speculate about things inside of our universe based on the things we observe or deduce from those observations, because all of those things are functions of the universe. None of those laws must be true outside of it.

All "mass" is is clumps of energy slowed down in higgs field. The higgs field itself is a creation of the big bang. Hence the big bang did not have a "mass."

No. The Universe is everything. There is no outside. So a the point of the big bang all space was insanely hot and dense. There was nothing to explode into. If anything calling it the big shrink is a better description, with matter coalescing into clumps that shrank inside space.

The Big Bang is no longer considered the beginning of the universe, just the earliest point we can retrieve information from. Cosmic inflation destroyed the information about the universe prior to the Big Bang. So the answer to all of your questions is that we don't know and can't know until new physics is found.
