They read books consistently and for long periods of time.
They study math and continue to study math.
They can analyze music and play an instrument.
They wait to speak and form a intelligent, respectful response. They have higher order thought in the grammar they use, and it flows.

I do these things but am slowly getting better. Also, haven't studied math in a while so that's an area I could see some significant improvements in.

A genius is someone you would consider insane after talking to, I mean I'm not saying I'm a genius but I bet I can keep you alive for an extra 50 years if I surgically remove your head from your spine and attach extravascular tubing for nutrient transfer. Hell your new life would probably be nearly unchanged in day to day activities unless you are an athlete or something. Perhaps the benefits outweigh the negatives, think about it you would need less money for food, no need for hair/showers, wouldn't need to expel waste, no chance of getting some bimbo pregnant unless you wanted to use ivf, you could have a custom built house made for you for a fraction of the cost of a normal one due to no need for high ceilings or bathrooms. To me it sounds like paradise but unfortunately until I work out how to fully automate the procedure and prep I can't do it on myself. Maybe one day though

They put on an appearance of humility and never talk about their own intelligence and sometimes may even convince themselves that they actually are humble but if you are a genius the gulf between you and almost every single person you meet is too wide and too obvious to deny so deep down they consider themselves geniuses. it's called social tact and an awareness of your own situation. More intelligent people are socialized easier and have a better understanding of social minutia so will not talk about their intelligence to others.

Real geniuses have chaotic minds and can be brilliant for a moment, then fucking idiots he next (or full autismo in a specific thing, and completely dense at other normal things).
They shine better when paired with someone intelligent whose mind is stable but sterile.

I'm afraid it's not possible to have a perfectly stable mind and also have that creative spark that requires a chaotic mind.

There are different geniuses out there. In no particular order you have:

These are the geniuses I've encountered in my personal and professional life. There may be more.
