But 44 is very close to 7 * (2*pi), and sin(n) is close to sin( 2 * pi * (7 * n) / 44) which equals sin (2 * pi * ((7 * n) mod 44)/44).
Since 7 and 44 are relatively prime, {(7 * n) mod 44 for n in 1..44} = { 0..43 }.
Which gives us nearly even spaced points around the circle.
