What would a shell world made out of a ~100km diameter asteroid? Assuming we were filling it with hydrogen in order to give it earth surface gravity.
Would only the immediate surface be set aside for habitation or would there be a few percent of the sphere's diameter be used multiple layers or for subterranean development.
Where would be a good place to put it? In orbit around Earth, another planet, the asteroid belt?
