I'm always skeptical, especially when there's evidence brushed aside that directly contradicts what is commonly accepted. That's why I'm highly skeptical of climate "scientists" who say the only solution is more government control.
If human-caused global climate change was a thing, then there would be actions individuals would be able to do to counter-act it without a ridiculous amount of government intrusion. For example: bicycling more, painting our roofs white, building more high-density infrastructure, planting more trees, etc. Hell, it should SAVE us money, not cost MORE money. But that doesn't make the government rich, so those types of actual solutions are never proposed.
