Athletes generally peak earlier, depending on the sport, but teens are still obviously shit at everything. So the real peak of human ability is between 25 and 45, depending heavily on the activity.
On the other hand, this is making the assumption that you're developing constantly. I'd imagine that most people peak cognitively and physically around their mid 20's because that's the last time they had consistent physical and mental exercise.
