Okay /sci/, what exactly is this solar feature? Some outlets reported it as a solar prominence and a filament tunnel, however I've yet to see another one just like it.
Helioviewer has it classified as a coronal hole, but it looks nothing like other coronal holes.
It also looks like it's not rotating with the sun.
So what is it?
