That's what's called a Monte Carlo Simulation. Helpful when you don't know the exact variables you're working with. For Monty Hall you'd likely just use Bayes' Theorem. Good to see it in action though.

Get 3 cups
Hide 2 balls under two of them
Pick one cup randomly.
Now separate it from the other two.
The other two has 2/3 chance.
Yours has 1/3 chance.
Now from the other two, reveal the one with the goat.

Do that 10 times and you'll see the answer pretty easily.

Yes, but the same brainlets who can't understand the probabilities involved are the same brainlets who can't read code or see that the code correctly implements the problem. So simulations don't get anywhere.

I remember the first time I saw the Monty Hall problem was in the book The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night Time, the book narrated by an autistic child. It had a full diagram explanation, the entire decision tree, as well as a paragraph of autistic disdain for people who refused to understand it. That has given 4chan arguments about it a new context for me, I only see it as the Autistic Child problem.
