>>14040270Yes, literally any 50 (or 60Hz if you want) oscillating field is always transmitting power. Hopefully the poynting vector is in your direction. Besides aren't those high voltage cables spun around each other to reduce power loss? (It's not a coax cable so it isn't perfect)
Even the distances involved could barely power a radio (still useful) but for the weight and length of wire you would lose more to resistance within the wire. If it was super conducting then maybe.
