Why don’t they just put a spy satellite in orbit around these bodies? Are the orbital mechanics too tricky, too expensive in terms of fuel, something like that? Like if we just has a big fuckin Hubble-clone telescope (should be cheap now that we have the blueprints) circling the moon we should be able to see all kinds of shit basically whenever we want, on the far side of the moon too. Even if it broke down and crashef after 2 years that’s still no worse than the average gay robot.
