There are a lot of other potential body parts that could function as love-objects such as hands but we can clearly see that hand fetishes are almost inexistent while feet are one of the most popular ones.

Is there a scientific answer to this question? I heard some theories such as people with anxiety are going to look at the floor more and they are going to develop a fetish for feet or that the part of the brain that has control over the feet is nearby with the part that has control over the genitals. Are any of these true?
