Extreme financial analysis

I’m trying to do my own extreme in depth analysis using statistics. I’m reading many books including calculus, probability, statistics. To apply what I learn I guess I need some kind of computer program. One where I can take “data sets” and load them into a software to analyze stock price history, dow Jones history and do detailed correlation studies and linear regression charts to see if I can get an edge in the market. I even want to apply it to gold/silver charts and use gold/silver ratio along with the chart on relative strength of USD and try finding correlation or making predictions based on these histories as well as trade volume. I feel I have a good understanding of the basic math. But I am complete shit at computers and tech. So I don’t know how I can collect massive amounts of price/performance history data and just load them into a super advanced excel spreadsheet or something. What do anons? Some of the math books I read go off on short tangents on using python to do math problems, which is scary because.... I just wanna analyze data I don’t want to learn to code.
