>>14022133I’m only an idiot, but I think it has something to do with the fact that if you genuinely love (phile) children (pedo), you ultimately don’t want to harm them. a lot of pedophiles tend to be inwardly socially awkward and will sperg out and run away from kids because kids tend to be outwardly socially awkward (and also because the former might experience sexual arousal). actual child abusers seem to carry out the act because of the power dynamic involved i.e. they are abusive people who, like most abusive people, target the vulnerable. and children are especially vulnerable because of their inability to quickly recognize when they’re being used.
I wouldn’t ever harm a child, but you gotta recognize that children are peak aesthetic on top of being such fascinating human beings. their minds are so free of the assumptions that imprison an adult mind in fear.
