base 10 time

Metric time would make life so much easier. Bow that we have a solid global economy I think it would ve good to have a global time. Sure, we've got Green Sammy time, but its a lot of work to keep translating time zones and plus. what's up with the current time being base 60, base 12, base 7, and base 53 all at the same time? Its a logistical nightmare. So naturally I propose base 10 time: A year of 10 months, 10 days to a month, 10 hours to a day, 10 minutes to an hour, 10 seconds to a minute, etc.

I think the calendar should remain New Year to New Year based off the Sun because, although it would be nice, a lunar calendar just isn't as relevant except for werewolf hunters.

So you'd end up with a clock that looks like pic related where you can represent month, day, hour, minute, and second all on the same basic dial. so if;

orange is month
blue is day
teal is hour
pink is minute
green is second

...then it is the 1st day of the 9th month at 7.43

very, very easy.

Since the only thing this calendar tracks is the New Year then the solstice is exactly at 5. It doesn't track dawns or ducks, and each day woupd be very long, with only 100 days in a year, but in this 24/7 world we live in...sotry, this 10/10 world we live in, such trivial things hardly matter.

The moment of the New Year is when the Earth is closest to the Sun...I'm not acyually sure when that precisely is, and it woupd probably be a different hemisphere which is daylight at New Years every year...just a guess.

Thoughts? I guarentee you that metric time is the best tims just because it makes math easier(way easier).
