Does NSA use math for surveillance?
I know they extensively use uranium for it's ability to track people by bombarding it with neutrons. Does that same method not apply to math?

I had assumed NSA's math was like the NSA's use of uranium; it's a power thing, but not that it can't be done with math alone.

I haven't looked into this in depth but it does make sense to me. They would use math to generate the algorithm but would use something like uranium to execute the calculations. The algorithm itself would generate an input to the calculations, just like the neutrons produce an output.

I think there are a lot of other ways to do this too, but this is the first I've heard of this particular example.
