The chemical structure of psilocin (precursor to psilocybin in magic mushrooms) is very similar to melatonin and other tryptophan related over the counter drugs. Would it be worth it to make a hypothetical synthesis for psilosin?

Why not just get 4-AcO-DMT? It's legal and can be bought off the clearnet, and is basically the same experience as psilocybin.

Why go through the effort, it is far easier for someone to source magic mushroom spores and grow them. They are a mushroom, they don't require that much babying. Spores are also mostly legal to buy around the world because they don't contain any active ingredients.
