Will 2 shots of Astrazeneca protect granma from Omicron?

I had family gatherings 2 days ago and yesterday
This morning we were informed one of the relatives present in those meetings developed fever and throat pain

I can't find any info on the protection of 2 shots of astrazeneca against Omicron, with regards to severe illness and having to end up in a hospital
