Hey sci, so I’m currently at a low point in my life and want to make a change. I’m studying instrumentation technology at a community college under the advice of my boomer dad, but I don’t find the subject that interesting and the jobs don’t seem to pay too well either.

Im thinking of dropping out and instead self studying cs doing the “just learn to code” meme in hopes I can get into software development. I have all the time in the world. What do you think?
