I watch some of his podcast eps when he has good guests on. Lex seems like a nice, smart guy and does good interviews.

I absolutely don't hate him but I do think he's pretty average. In my opinion he suffers from the Rogan problem where he can't press questions or be an effective host, Rogan however has his bright spots especially when its his field of knowledge. Lex I feel is usually carried by his guests however or is too naive or passive in some respects. I feel he may be doing it on purpose but then he says something so naive that I get unsure again. I notice it most when he speaks with people like Weinstein or other professors who have so much to say but he has very little back and forth. At the end of the day I understand its a show and in person he seems much more loose but what's the point of the podcast if thats the case? Even the episode with his father felt too sterile.
