I'd imagine the human based vaccine would be effective on most animals but no one wants to take the media plunge of selling vaccines that were not specifically tested to work on pets for the sake of profit margines. The pandemic and undisputed focus on it really isn't at that point yet. The world would slander a specific vaccine in places that deny animal testing as well.
