Is science just making up models and applying them? It's not like Science is a god and he has his chosen prophets that are told the secrets of the universe. You basically just pick a model until you decide the its starting to seem pretty ghey and replace it with model that makes less ghey.
If you had a bunch of weirdo Christian geocentricissts they could still do science with geocentrism. They could just keep going up with weirder and more schizo versions of the model until you somehow explained all the orbits, or at least some of them. And if you absolutely 100% were dead set on proving geocentrism right this is what you would end up doing. You'd then need to come up with a new model of gravity that explains why the sun is rotating around the earth. But if you went through enough models and get schzio enough you could do it. You'd probably need to make new models for a bazillion other things now that you are operating on a completely different concept of gravity for instance. You'd end up with models that are less and less about predicting things and more and more about just making your presuppositions look good.
Is that what's going on with Woke science (both social science and the material sciences). Instead of being weirdo Christians that want to geocentralism they want egalitarianism. So they make up a bunch of schizo models until they find one that sort of works. And like how if you stuck with your geocentric model you'd need a new model for gravity and a billion other things, enough Woke science will just make more and more branches schizo. And your explanitory power would go down as the whole system of models becomes more and more about just looking good on paper.
