First off, here is a picture of the moon i took yesterday.
My question is this. Do i need the zenith mirror? When i try useing only an ocular without the zenith, i get some blury mess. Why is that?
Also. Does my ocular add chromatic aberration?

The eyepiece can't reach the focal point without the diagonal, you'll need some kind of spacer between the focuser and the eyepiece.

I think so, been wondering about this myself but I'm not 100% sure.

Cool picture anon. I like the definition on the craters at the edge of the lit area. Full moons are overrated.

After a bit of searching around, i found an adjustable leangthener, which in it's description mentioned most skywatcher telescopes don't work without either a zenith or a leangthener.

Thank you. I have full moon pics too, but my phone camera is terrible, and i was alone when i took those. So they are terible. Also, it's hard to deal with so much light. For this, my girlfriend was there, and she has a new phone with a decent camera.
I'm hoping to buy a PlanetPRO (IMX224color) next month. That way maybe i can take some really good photos.
