As far as Mario, I think he was onto something. As much as it defies common sense, I think there is something very wrong about the "nothingness" after death idea.

Something deeply intuitively wrong. Maybe good, maybe bad, probably incomprehensibly bonkers.

All I know is, I've been put under ten times, and there is no nothingness. Nothingness cannot be perceived. There's a perfect time edit. One second you're here, in the next moment, there.

Every time I try to picture death as a "here" with no "there," well, I can't. Flies in the face of my own material beliefs.
