I once asked an Optometrist if glasses weaken your eyes - increasing dependence on lenses as time goes on, in the same way that a muscle can atrophy if not used properly.
She said the premise was ridiculous and pointed out that I wear shoes to protect my feet from debris on the ground. Then she gave me an eye exam and I picked out some incel frames.

Where do I get glasses with custom prescriptions? I want to reduce the power of my lenses by a diopter. I'm nearsighted so reading glasses (which seem to be always positive) are so good.
