I have been a good goy and took 2 doses of the Covid vaccine.
Now my government wants me to take a third booster dose 4 months after the second one.

My questions are:

Yes, a variant specific vax would be better but that would take a few moths to produce at scale so boosters are good enough

yes, immunity wanes and with a booster it resurges and appears to be more durable (though the effect isnt huge)

in 1.5 years of clinical testing of covid vaccines they have not caused something like this. No other vaccine has ever caused a side effect that appears more than three months post injection.
At this point, it seems pretty dang unlikely that mRNA vaxxes have any long-term effects.

Which variant and which vaccine? Omicron MAY be a gift, if it really is just an upper respiratory virus. The other variants could tear up the lungs and potentially reach the blood stream. As for the vaccines, they'll all reach the blood stream, and the spike protein in the blood will always be a bit of a negative, but I'd rather it be a preformed spike rather than mRNA or viral vector that could cause my heart to start expressing the protein.

I have already had the virus in 2020, then in 2021 I had two doses of the vaccine. I'm not seeing the point of taking a booster shot other than not seeming like an antivax schizo to family members.
Also, when I had covid I had a huge pain in my chest. I'm not very fond of the idea of potentially messing with my heart again by taking 27 boosters

The MMR vaccine is two doses. Since Israel has been taking the lead, it's safe to assume we're going to need at least four SARS-CoV-2 shots to count as fully vaccinated, assuming it doesn't become an annual requirement.

Not for one specific disease, with no end in sight. Not to mention vaccines like MMR are over 90% effective and immunity lasts for decades, if not a lifetime. Three doses of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines are supposedly good for 70% protection against Omicron, and I suspect that number is inflated based on previous evidence.
