I saw a show years ago that dealt with possible end of the world scenarios. One them was not enough oxygen getting to the ocean floor. Apparently there is a bacteria that lives there which requires oxygen suppression.
So in theory if all ocean predators go extinct there should be a chain reaction that ends the earth. Provided sea life that eats plankton thrives and multiplies.
What do you think about this /sci/? Am I right?
