I'm tired all the time because of depression. Which substances work as antidepressants? I wanna self medicate.

Lift weights three or four times a week, and do HIIT cardio two times a week.
Take vitamin D supplements if you don't get much sun.
Cut out alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine, and recreational drugs. Learn to make nutritious meals.
Try to get some pussy at least once a week, preferably barebacked but a thin latex condom is better than nothing.
Only after all that should you consider that you have an actual chemical imbalance and see a psychiatrist.

Usually, in order to not be depressed, you need to have a couple of things going for you in your life, eg: A job, a loving family, good friends, a significant other, financial security, health, etc. The fewer of these things you have, the more likely you are to be depressed. So if you'd like to help your depression, figure out which pillars are missing from your life and try to improve in those areas.

Also you could try not being such a whiny little bitch. Scientifically speaking.

I forgot to add: once you've followed my advice for at least 6-12 months to no avail, get your testosterone levels checked before seeing a psychiatrist. Low testosterone levels can cause depression.

100 mg trazodone and 4g dried shrooms once a week. Tripping can be very helpful as a form of psychotherapy, but if your mind is in the gutter, you can easily end up having a very bad trip and doing more damage. I'm convinced there's also a purely chemical aspect to the relief people feel after a good trip, though. I ended up discovering this precisely because I used trazodone to abort an excruciatingly bad trip, and woke up feeling much better the next day, so I repeated it several times taking the trazadone preemptively, and felt a noticeable improvement almost every time. You can find a bunch of research papers observing antidepressant effects of psychedelics in lab animals -- I don't suppose the rats spend that time sorting out their psychological issues.

You're the nigger. Not only did that garbage not help -- it permanently worsened my tinnitus. Imagine taking that shit for 6 weeks, putting up with gross side-effects only for it to predictably fail, as it does in most patients. Just take the shrooms. Im now suffering from different kind of mental illness which is far worse than suicidal depression but i got better because i went full blown schizo and i dig occult books, buddhism and other crazy ass shit for enlightenment.
