Why won't it stop? For 6 weeks my ears have been ringing, more like screaming, with a steady, high frequency whine. Yes I've been to an ENT who said I should seek 'tinnitus retraining therapy' which takes months or years & all it does is give you tools to cope with & possibly ignore the ringing. The ENT was wrong. There has to be something else. It's too loud & overwhelming.
