We have the tech for advanced cameras and computer equipment, why haven’t we sent more probes that are the size of a dresser off into space to gather more info about everything?

does it cost a lot just to send anything to space?

Whats so uninteresting about your life here on earth that you've become fascinated by things out there on other planets.
You must be totally dissatisfied with your experience as a human down here on this planet if all you can think about is going somewhere else.
Have you considered going below the earth instead of above it? Being alive on this planet surface doesn't hold your interest, maybe being dead an buried beneath the surface is more your thing. You can go whenever you like, but the sooner the better since Earth is just so boring.
