I'm a med schooler and just got done with the basics of microbiology and biochemistry. That being said I found the information we have gotten to only cause more questions on the topic, for example how we managed to make the free spike protein from the covid vaccine have its quaternary structure resemble that of the spike protein attached to the lipid membrane of the virus.

Where can I learn more about this? I don't want to just be a doctor who memorizes a book of infectious disease symptoms and how to treat them. The chemistry behind it interests me so.
