Say a person commits suicide, but their death is reversed and they are subsequently lobotomized by a surgeon. In turn, the surgeon then proceeds to experiment on person, leaving their nerves fully intact, but with no memory. If the surgeon restores all of the body parts and cells to good condition, reverses the lobotomy, and restores the person's sense of continuity, would their action be selfless or selfless provided they helped the person resolve the source of their desire to commit suicide?
