Was a coffee, tea and energy drink spammer for years. My friends dared me 100 bucks to go caffeine-free for a month. I took up their challenge. At first the cravings were horrible, and the ensuing headaches made me wanted to shoot myself, but after a month I haven't felt better.
Currently, the frequency in which I would get splitting headaches is virtually zero and my energy levels are more plentiful than ever, even if I had slept for fewer than 8 hours of sleep.
Is there some kind of caffeine conspiracy? I genuinely feel better and healthier now after my caffeine fast. I am kinda tempted to go back, but I am not so sure.
