Please explain to me how to get H. I know B = mu*n*I for what is presumably a solenoid, so H is n*i, but the answer on paper doesn't make much sense to me when I go through part A (I end up with a negative M value).

How do I acquire Kb? From what I recall it requires multiplying M by a normal quantity-- how do you determine this normal?
