are cold showers actually good for you? I can't find anything online which explicitly and reliably shows whether or not cold showers are good/bad for you. seems like it's all just conjecture.

I feel great after having one but it also makes my balls hurt from shrinking rapidly in the ice cold water. I'm talking frigid cold water.
