I don't mean communicating complex thoughts via telepathy of course. but if you have a close friend or sibling that you share good amount of common experience (movie, music, memories), in a limited proximity, you can effect their brain with your own thoughts.
It basically works like transformer. I see it happen many times with my cousins which I live together since high-school. when I think about some random stuff, it resonates in my brain and at the same moment he talks about it, or happens with the songs very often.
I didn't sleep so my writing is probably shit but hope you got my point, I don't know if it has a name but with a controlled experiment assuming all the conditions I mentioned above assured, it can be proven, I am certain about it.
