Had a chance to play with an Emotiv EEG as part of a research projec. Yes, you can control things with it, but it would be much easier to just use a joystick. Problems with the Emotiv:
-Need a bald head and some effort to get good contact between the scalp and pads
-Each function you try to control gets exponentially harder. Its easy to just make something go up and down. A full 6 axis of control is really hard and takes lots of training.
-Control requires complete focus and is exhausting. Forget about doing this for more than a few minutes at a time.
