how did gödel destroy the project of the principia mathematica?
bertrand russell is reported to have not understood the work of gödel, nor have cared much about it. how can this be when russell spent 15 years of his life solely dedicated to mathematical logic? gödels works came at least ~13 years after russell stopped doing mathematical logic, dedicating his time to very different work instead, but still how would it have been possible for russell to complete leave something he spent so much time and energy on behind him forever?
