Started learning math from scratch recently, for no particular reason other than the fact that I've always been an absolute mathlet. But recently I started getting interested
Currently working on AoPS prealgebra (almost done) and just started adding Hammack's Book of Proof.
My goal for now is becoming competent in Linear Algebra and Calculus.
With that in mind, any tips for books I should tackle next?
Here is my roadmap so far:
- AoPS Prealgebra book (almost done)
- Hammack, Book of Proof
- ??? (Probably some kind of college algebra text should go here?)
- Corral, Trigonometry
- ??? (Something on basic geometry?)
- ??? (Precalculus text?)
- Spivak, Calculus
- Axler, Linear Algebra done Right
I know Lang's Basic Mathematics is well regarded here but the lack of available solutions sounds scary to a brainlet like me. Any kind of advice is appreciated.
