East Asians are particularly vulnerable to aneurisms. In fact while in the west heart disease is the biggest killer, in the east aneurysms/stokes are the number one killer. It's essentially the East Asian equivalent to heart disease, not surprised he got it.

not really a good screen method for them other than if you have a family history of it. they usually be seen with MRI or contrast enhanced CT, but people don't normally know they have one unless it ruptures. asian men and woman have a higher risk for cranial aneurysms, but we're not oging to put 2+billion people through MRIs for preventative measures

Literally the only interest genes to look into are on the face, as soon as you deglove the skin, people are basically identical.
